In the wake of recent decisions looking askance at the use of race in college admissions and nixing a Biden administration plan to unilaterally forgive billions in student loan debt, they’re again threatening to pack the court.Federal judges are charged with assessing the constitutionality of congressional and executive branch actions regardless of popular opinion. TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Multiple crews worked to put out a two-alarm house fire in Troy on July 22. One firefighter was hospitalized after battling the blaze, according to the Troy Fire Department. Crews responded to a structure fire at a home on 8th Avenue late in the morning on Saturday, knocking the fire down within 40 minutes of the first alarm. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. The Troy Fire Department was aided by the Watervliet Fire Department, Watervliet Arsenal, and the Albany Fire Department. (BCN) -- Yountville residents and businesses no longer need to boil water as a precaution against E. coli bacteria, the town said Saturday night. VIDEO: Sideshow activity blocks AC Transit bus Yountville and the California Department of Veterans Affairs, which owns and operates the water treatment facility, "have met mandated testing requirements for negative results for E. coli contamination in the water," the town said in a statement. "The State Water Resource Control Board has approved the use of town water," according to the statement.
